Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Victoria University of Wellington and brings over 15 years of diverse experience across the mining, environmental, and public sectors. She is an analytical and solutions-focused geologist and GIS analyst with a strong background in team leadership, spatial data management, geological exploration, and local government.

She is known for her ability to build strong working relationships, communicate effectively, and consistently deliver high-quality results, all with a sense of fun and approachability that makes her a valued team member.

Outside of work, Susan is an active community contributor, serving on the board of trustees at her local school and volunteering in school safety and emergency management roles.
