Longreach Exploration gets CEI grant for Fletcher Awl
The latest round of Queensland Government Collaborative Exploration Initiative (CEI) grants have been announced and Longreach Mineral Exploration were one of the successful applicants. The grant will be used to do work on their Fletchers Awl project in Central Queensland, which is currently interpreted as a copper-gold porphyry/epithermal system. Kenex will be involved in the project helping Longreach update the regional geology map using machine learning and building a 3D geological map over the project area in order to better understand the underlying architectural controls on the mineral system at Fletchers Awl.
