Alliance with Childs Geoscience Incorporated
Kenex is pleased to advise the forming of an alliance with US based Childs Geoscience Incorporated (CGI). The alliance will enable Kenex to offer its key services of mineral prospectivity modelling, 3D geology mapping, 3D prospectivity modelling and project generation to the North American market, through the excellent network of CGI. Kenex and CGI have already worked collaboratively during 2015, and are of the view that the synergies of the two companies can provide an excellent offering to the mineral exploration and mining market in North America.
Kenex has global experience, working on projects in Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East but to date our involvement in North America has been limited. The collaboration with CGI will provide Kenex with a foothold into that market.
We consider that CGI is an excellent fit for our aspirations in North America. After some 25 years as a successful explorationist operating as Childs and Associates LLC, John Childs founded CGI in 2008 to service an expanding client base. CGI has developed a reputation as a highly regarded consultancy with expertise in a range of exploration disciplines. This includes successful exploration programs in metals and industrial minerals throughout the US, Canada, Brazil and elsewhere in Latin America and world-wide. CGI has extensive experience in drilling, program management, geologic mapping, structural analysis, permitting, reclamation, and modelling. In addition CGI maintains a close working relationship with experts in geophysics, geochemistry, mineralogy, quality control, underground and surface mine design and resource and reserve estimation. CGI prides itself in producing excellent results in challenging environments. CGI typically has a geologic staff of ten to fourteen geologists with a wide range of expertise . This team is led by Mr. Troy Himes, Operations Manager, with mine management skills gained in North America and Australia.
We look forward to discussing the collective offering with existing CGI clients and developing new opportunities. The first such occasion will be at the American Exploration and Mining Association annual meeting in Spokane Washington from 30 November to 5 December. The Annual Meeting is the largest annual gathering of the mineral exploration sector in the U.S. and provides significant business and social networking opportunities. Kenex and CGI will be represented by Dr. John Childs (CGI President).
